Hold the peanuts: Netflix may revive CBS' 2006-08 post-apocalyptic drama "Jericho," TV Guide reports.
Netflix, which will host the revived Fox comedy "Arrested Development," has approached CBS about reviving "Jericho" as well, according to the report.
A Netflix rep told TheWrap the company "does not comment on rumors or speculation." A CBS Television Studio rep also said the company was "declining to comment."
The speculation follows CBS chief executive officer Les Moonves' hint to analysts in February that CBS might produce a show for Netlifx.
"Jericho" fans — who once tried to save the show from cancelation by sending cases of peanuts to CBS offices — have latched onto the show on Netflix. Discussions about reviving it are in the early stages, TV Guide reports, and likely include whether original cast members would be available.

Netflix stock has dropped 25 percent in the last month, and the company already has money committed to the "Arrested Development" revival scheduled to premiere early next year. It has also committed to the Kevin Spacey/David Fincher drama "House of Cards" and a second season of the Steven Van Zandt dramedy "Lilyhammer."
"Jericho" Jericho aired for two seasons on CBS, and a six-issue comic book series, "Jericho Season 3: Civil War," continued the series' storylines.
IDW has announced that another comic book series, "Jericho Season 4," will be published this summer, and will be overseen by the writing staff of the TV series.
