Netflix has ordered three new sci-fi series, including one starring and produced by Kate Bosworth, the streaming service announced Friday.

The shows are Bosworth-led “The I-Land,” plus “Warrior Nun” and “October Faction.”

Here’s the official logline for seven-episode “The I-Land”: When 10 people wake up on a treacherous island with no memory of who they are or how they got there, they set off on a trek to try to get back home. They soon discover this world is not as it seems. Faced with the island’s extreme psychological and physical challenges, they must rise to their better selves — or die as their worst ones.

Bosworth (“The Long Road Home,” “Still Alice”) will produce and stars as KC, Natalie Martinez (“The Crossing,” “APB,” “Secrets and Lies,” “Under the Dome”) will star as Chase, and Alex Pettyfer (“Magic Mike,” “I Am Number Four,” “The Strange Ones, Elvis & Nixon”) will star as Brody.

The project hails from Nomadic Pictures Entertainment, with “Van Helsing”s Neil LaBute acting as showrunner, director and writer. Jonathan Scarfe (“Van Helsing) will also direct and Lucy Teitler (“Mr. Robot”) will help pen the scripts, with both co-executive producing. Executive producers include Chad Oakes and Mike Frislev.

“October Faction” is based on the IDW comic book series written by Steve Niles and follows globetrotting monster hunters Fred and Deloris Allen who, after the death of Fred’s father, return to their hometown in upstate New York with their teenage children Geoff and Viv. As the family adjusts, Fred and Deloris must hide their identities as members of a secret organization, and our heroes quickly discover that their new small-town setting isn’t as idyllic as it seems.

The 10-episode series hails from High Park Entertainment in association with IDW Entertainment. “Sleepy Hollow” and “Krypton” alum Damian Kindler is the series’ creator and will executive produce and act as showrunner and director. Other directors on “October Faction” include Director X (“Superfly,” “Mister Tachyon,” “Across the Line”), Megan Follows (“Reign,” “Anne of Green Gables”), Mina Shum (“Meditation Park,” “Ninth Floor”) and David Frazee (“Vikings,” “Orphan Black”).

Niles, James Thorpe, Thomas Walden and Eric Birnberg will executive produce, with George Strayton and Melissa Blake co-executive producing and John Calvert and Mohamad El Masri producing.

The Manga novel-inspired “Warrior Nun” revolves around a 19-year-old woman who wakes up in a morgue with a new lease on life and a divine artifact embedded in her back. She discovers she is now part of an ancient order that has been tasked with fighting demons on Earth, and powerful forces representing both heaven and hell want to find and control her.

The 10-episode sci-fi project is written, executive produced and will be showrun by Simon Barry (“Ghost Wars,” “Continuum”). Amy Berg (“Counterpart,” “Da Vinci’s Demons”) is consulting producer, with Terri Hughes Burton (“The 100,” “Eureka”) co-executive producing and Stephen Hegyes (“White Noise,” “50 Dead Men Walking”) executive producing.
