New ‘Outsiders’ Trailer Sees Farrell Family Gearing Up to Kick Ass (Video)

WGN America series from executive producer Paul Giamatti will premiere on Jan. 26

In a new trailer for WGN America’s “Outsiders,” the Farrells are preparing for a battle.

The 13-episode original series will follow the Farrell family as they try to keep the outside world from intruding on a way of life they have enjoyed for almost 200 years.

In the trailer, the Farrells repeatedly use their rallying cry, “Ged Ged Yah,” which loosely translates to “Hell, yeah.” They use the chant whenever they get ready for a fight.

The cast of “Outsiders” includes David Morse (“Treme,” “Hurt Locker”) as Big Foster, a gruff and powerful heir to leadership; Ryan Hurst (“Sons of Anarchy,” “Bates Motel”), as Lil Foster, a massive mountain man and son of Big Foster; Joe Anderson (“The Divide,” “Across the Universe”) as Asa, a member of the Farrell clan looking to rejoin the family after a stint with the outside world; and many more.

Playwright Peter Mattei wrote and created the series in addition to executive producing. Fedora Entertainment’s Emmy Award winner Peter Tolan (“Rescue Me,” “Analyze This”), Emmy Award-winning actor Paul Giamatti (“John Adams,” “Sideways”), Dan Carey (“All Is Bright”) for Touchy Feely Films and Fedora’s Michael Wimer (“2012,” “Rake”) also serve as executive producers.

“Outsiders” will premiere on WGN America on Jan. 26 at 9 p.m./8c.
