‘Stranger Things’ Chapter 2 Trailer Teases More Creepy Thrills (Video)

Part Two on Netflix Oct. 27

Many things go bump in the night in the new trailer for the second season of Netflix’s “Stranger Things.”

And much of the action seems to be set — naturally — on Halloween night, with the kids donning costumes and masks as they encounter many-tentacled creatures who have escaped from the Upside Down realm.

Earlier this week, Netflix released a teaser revealing the names of the first six episodes: “MadMax,” “Trick or Treat Freak,” “The Pollywog,” “Will the Wise,” “Dig Dug” and “The Spy.” The titles for episodes seven, eight and nine are still a mystery.

Part 2 of the hit series, created by the Duffer Brothers, will pay homage to even more ’80s movies we all know and love, like “The Goonies,” “Alien” and “The Evil Dead,” among others.

The return to Hawkins, Indiana and the Upside Down will be darker than last season, and will pick up a year after the story left off.

Will (Noah Schnapp) hasn’t fully overcome his Upside Down visions, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) is still missing and #JusticeforBarb is in full swing.

Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) will discover a new creature, called the Pollywog, and a new “shadow monster” (as seen in the first trailer) arrives to wreak havoc on Hawkins.
