New ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’ Promos Show Off Imagine Dragons Song, Fire-Breathing Dinobot (Video)

Optimus Prime is a cowbot displaying excellent dinosaur-wrangling skills in two new promos for “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” which feature a new song Imagine Dragons wrote for the Michael Bay movie.

The first promo (above) mixes the new single, “Battle Cry,” with action-packed footage from Paramount’s June 27 release, including Mark Wahlberg firing that giant sword-gun thing, a fire-breathing Dinobot, and Mr. Prime riding that same Dinobot like a horse after beating it into submission.

Apparently, Prime has to strike up an alliance with the Dinobots in order to save Earth from extinction years after humanity survived the war between the Autobots and Decepticons.

The second promo (below) features much of the same footage, but more Imagine Dragons talking about being “inspired” by the movie and working on their newest song with “Transformers” composer Hans Zimmer.
