Guess who’s coming to Brooklyn? “America’s Got Talent” host Nick Cannon will be guest starring on a December episode of Fox comedy “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” in a role that will recur.

The multi-hyphenate entertainer will play Captain Holt’s (Andre Braugher‘s) nephew, Marcus.

Cannon’s character is billed as a handsome, educated and charming young man, who has just moved to the city and is staying with Holt until he finds his own place.

In addition to hosting the hit NBC reality competition series, Cannon counts “Drumline” and “Men in Black II” among his credits. The stand-up comic has his own production company, NCredible Entertainment.

“Brooklyn Nine-Nine” moved to Sundays for its sophomore season. Last year, the show shocked the industry by winning the Golden Globe for best comedy. Star Andy Samberg also took home a Globe for leading actor in a comedy. Neither the show nor Samberg received Emmy noms, though Braugher did for his supporting role. However, Ty Burrell of “Modern Family” took home the statue.

This Sunday, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” will air a special Halloween-themed episode.
