Nick Young Serenades Fiancée Iggy Azalea With ‘Sugar’ in ‘Lip Sync Battle’ Sneak Peek (Video)

The Lakers star will duel the rapper, who will perform Silk’s “Freak Me,” on Thursday

Nick Young is taking the stage on Thursday night’s “Lip Sync Battle” to serenade fiancée Iggy Azalea with Maroon 5‘s “Sugar.”

Young is set to duel Azalea, who will perform Silk’s “Freak Me,” a decidedly raunchier choice than Young’s romantic pop song.

“I’m going with Maroon 5, ‘Sugar,’ for my baby,” the L.A. Lakers forward said before commencing his performance. He even took off his jacket at one point, much to Azalea’s delight.

“We’ve created a monster!” host LL Cool J told the female rapper.

The show, co-hosted by LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen, is produced by John KrasinskiStephen Merchant, Casey Patterson, Jay Peterson and Rick Schwartz. Beth McCarthy-Miller of “Saturday Night Live” serves as director.
