Nicki Minaj is praising Adele for spitting “Monster” rhymes during James Corden‘s latest “Carpool Karaoke” segment.
“Adele is mad ratchet,” Minaj tweeted after watching the “Late Late Show” moment. “I can’t take her. #UK #WutsGood.”
She also took to Instagram to declare how impressed she was by Adele, posting a snippet of the video with the caption, “Pull thru, Queen!!!! #Adele #Monster the attitude & fingers to match. #Oh #ok #IcoNIC I cried when she waved bye to the careers #Hello #BuyBye.
On Wednesday, Adele joined James Corden for a new installment of Carpool Karaoke, which the duo kicked off by singing her new smash hit single “Hello.” After Adele complimented Corden on his rendition of her song, the two touched on Adele’s love for the Spice Girls, which concluded with a duet of the classic girl-power jam “Wannabe” before Adele proved that she can not only hit those high notes, but can also rap.
Corden’s Carpool Karaoke segment has become famous after he took a ride with guests like Justin Bieber, One Direction, Mariah Carey and Stevie Wonder.
