Phillip Noyce will direct and Samuel L. Jackson will star in "Mixed Blood," an adaptation of Roger Smith’s thriller which was published last month.
The story revolves around an American fugitive who draws the attention of murderers, kidnappers, corrupt cops and a detective (Jackson), who is concealing a secret of his own.
Kelly Masterson ("Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead’) is writing the screenplay.
A Bigger Boat, GreeneStreet Films and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, are co-financing and producing the project. Jackson’s Uppity Films will also produce.
Noyce is currently directing "Salt" with Angelina Jolie for Columbia.
