NYPD Shove Man Attempting Ellen DeGeneres Dance Dare to the Ground: ‘You F–kin’ Kidding Me, Bro?’ (Video)

DeGeneres dared her viewers to “sneak up behind perfect strangers” and dance behind them without them knowing it

Note to the public: Do not attempt to pull off a dance dare for “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” behind a New York police officer.

A video that began circulating on Monday showing NYPD officers surrounding prankster Alexander Bok, a black man, pulling off the stunt that is supposed to be humorous, but quickly turned into a nightmare.

When officers noticed Bok dancing behind one of them on Christmas Eve, they immediately surrounded him and began angrily questioning him before eventually throwing him to the ground.

“What the f–k are you doing behind me?” one officer says. “What the f–k is wrong with you?”

“I’m just dancing,” Bok explained.

“Are you f–kin’ kidding me, bro?” the same officer asks before shoving the man to the ground. “Take a f–kin’ walk.”

Bok’s decision to test police patience couldn’t have come at a worse time, considering that two NYPD officers were shot and killed by a lone gunman just two days beforehand. Still, NYPD officials have told the media that they are investigating the incident.

Representatives for “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” have not yet responded to TheWrap‘s request for comment.

Watch the prank gone wrong that Bok says in a longer cut was inspired by Psy’s “Gangnam Style.”
