Obama Tears Up While Talking to Campaign Workers (Video)

Obama allows himself a rare emotional moment after winning the presidential election

President Barack Obama is not known for being a gusher. Yet, in a rare public display of emotion, the man once dubbed "no drama Obama," shed a few tears during remarks to campaign staffers this week.

Calling them a source of "strength and inspiration," Obama told staffers at his Chicago campaign headquarters the morning after winning re-election that he was proud of the work they had accomplished together.

"When I come here and I look at all of you, what comes to mind is, it's not that you guys remind me of myself, it's the fact that you are so much better than I was in so many ways," Obama said. "You're smarter, you're so better organized, you're more effective."

"You're all going to do just amazing things in your lives," he added.

The video of the president choking up has already gone viral, receiving over 1 million views on YouTube and being dubbed, in the words of Jezebel, the "best dad speech ever."
