Hours after Bruno Mars (pictured above) performed as headliner, a white van plowed into a group of people at the PinkPop music festival in the Netherlands, killing one and injuring three, according to Sky News.

The vehicle was driven away after the crash in Landgraaf, though a 34-year-old Dutch man has since turned himself in to police. He is suspected of manslaughter and attempted manslaughter, police said during a news conference on Monday morning.

It is currently unclear if this was a deliberate attack or an accident. The person who died was a 35-year-old man who volunteered at the music festival.

“Early this morning a vehicle on the public road (Mensheggerweg) has hit 4 people,” a Microsoft translation of a PinkPop tweet reads. “Victims include a fatal victim. The organization of is deeply shocked and lives with the victims and family.”

“The municipality of Landgraaf has set up an emergency number for people who have questions about the situation this morning early,” organizers wrote on the social media website about 40 minutes later. “The phone number is 0251-260960.”

PinkPop is a three-day event that attracts tens of thousands of fans. This year, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, and The Offspring were also booked as part of the packed lineup.
