‘Orange Is the New Black’ Will Be Jason Biggs-Free for Season 3

“They’re not focusing on Larry at the moment,” actor says of his character

Whatever happens in the upcoming season of Netflix’s “Orange Is the New Black,” Larry Bloom won’t be involved in it.

Jason Biggs, who plays Piper Chapman’s fiance on the prison dramedy, won’t be involved with the new season.

“American Pie” alum Biggs announced his absence via the New York Daily News, noting: “They’re not focusing on Larry at the moment … Larry will not be in Season 3.”

Biggs did note, however, that “there’s always a chance that he can come back” in future seasons.

A spokesperson for Netflix confirmed that Biggs won’t appear in the upcoming season, which has wrapped filming.

The streaming service has not yet announced when “Orange Is the New Black” will return for Season 3.

Those who just can’t wait to see Biggs again will have to head to Broadway, where he’ll star opposite “Mad Men” actress Elisabeth Moss in “The Heidi Chronicles” starting Monday.
