Joe Scarborough Drags Fox News: ‘Swallowed the President’s Lies Whole’

“Are they more interested in whipping up frenzy?” asks Scarborough on “Morning Joe”

Joe Scarborough returned to “Morning Joe” on Thursday by attacking his industry colleagues at Fox News for repeating President Trump’s lies on immigration.

“Fox News. Are they more interested in whipping up frenzy, whipping cultural war saying ‘we are at war, you can only believe us, everybody else is lying’ when so many of you guys have just swallowed the president’s lies whole?” he said.

Even though President Trump signed an executive order yesterday, ending the policy of separating families of undocumented migrants, Scarborough and many others on Thursday continued to ask questions about the fates of the more than 2,000 children who have already been separated.

“Are you interested in finding out where these 2,300 children are,” Scarborough continued, looking intently into the camera. “I know Shep [Smith] is. I know there’s a lot of good people. Bret Baier, I know Bret Baier is. Judge Napolitano said there are a lot of good, good people over at Fox. I got a lot of friends over at Fox.”

“2,300 babies are being incarcerated by Donald Trump’s centralized state,” he said loudly. “What is your response to that moral and ethical question?

Reps for Fox News did not immediately respond to request for comment.

This is not the first time Scarborough has name-dropped hosts from Fox News on set. Scarborough and Sean Hannity spent much of last winter trading barbs back and forth from their respective sets. The Fox News host even went so far as to run gag reels on his show making fun of “Psycho Joe.”
