Paramount Appoints PR Veteran Mia Ammer as VP of Corporate Communications

Ammer is coming to Paramount from Paradigm Talent Agency

Public Relations exec Mia Ammer has been appointed the vice president of corporate communications at Paramount Pictures, the studio announced Friday.

Ammer will report directly to EVP of Global Communications and Corporate Branding Chris Petrikin and will work closely with Paramount’s film and TV divisions to develop the studio’s brand initiatives. Her post will begin on Feb. 5.

“Mia is a consummate professional, who has the unique experience of having worked in film and television publicity and in corporate communications,” said Petrikin. “She will be a valuable addition to our team and to the studio.”

Ammer is a 20-year PR veteran, who is coming to Paramount from Paradigm Talent Agency where she served as vice president of corporate communications and media strategy. She began her career at Wolf Kasteler and Associates before working at Sony Pictures, Relativity Media and RED (Relativity/EuropaCorp).

She has also previously worked as a special consultant for the Twentieth Century Fox Marketing Department where she worked on publicity campaigns for projects like “The Wolverine” and “Runner Runner.”
