Fox has given a script commitment to an hour-long drama executive produced by musician and mogul Armando Christian Perez, a.k.a. Pitbull.

The script is written by “Power” producer Sascha Penn, and “Warm Bodies” director Jonathan Levine is set to direct.

The untitled project follows a teenager who is pulled from his rundown high school and sent to live with his uncle, a celebrity chef, and attend the wealthiest private school in Miami. He attempts to acclimate himself to his new surroundings while dealing with relationships, family drama, work, and all the problems that more money brings.

Produced by Endemol Shine Studios, the project will be executive produced by Penn, Levine and Perez. David Ortiz will serve as co-executive producer through Honey I’m Home.

The rapper recently contributed a song to the soundtrack for the network’s hit series “Empire.” He is also set to guest star in an upcoming episode of the show’s second season.
