President Obama and Mitt Romney clashed over foreign policy in their third and final debate, and once again Twitter was on hand to grade the bout in real time.
Aziz Ansari, Alec Baldwin, Michael Moore and Dane Cook weighed in with the best laugh lines of the night and helped turn Obama's analogy about the navy being like "horses and bayonets" into an instant meme. Celebrity responses tended to be liberal, as show business tends to be a left-leaning enterprise and Clint Eastwood has yet to discover Twitter.
But Donald Trump was on hand to take the fight to the president and famously undecided voter Lindsay Lohan was even able to forget her latest tabloid scandal and tweet out 140 characters to congratulate the candidates. Talk about America coming together!
