Bob Barker, come on down!
Longtime “The Price Is Right” host Bob Barker is returning to his old stomping grounds to appear on the daytime game show on Dec. 12 — which, not coincidentally, is Barker’s 90th birthday, a network executive told TheWrap.

Barker, a longtime animal-rights advocate, will help to place a dog for adoption during his appearance on the show. That’s a theme that will play out throughout the week on the show; as part of a weeklong tribute to Barker, “The Price Is Right” will feature pet adoptions from Dec. 9 to Dec. 13.
Barker has appeared on “The Price Is Right” once before since handing over the reins of the CBS show to new host Drew Carey in 2007, when his 2009 memoir “Precious Memories” was published.
