Ratings: Case Closes on ‘Menendez Murders’ in Another NBC Primetime Win

CBS is again No. 1 in total viewers with “NCIS” and “Bull”

“Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders” banged its final gavel last night. The verdict? NBC is guilty of another Tuesday win in the key 18-49 demographic.

Of course, that top spot is mostly thanks to “The Voice” and “This Is Us,” but the Dick Wolf limited series was competitive at 10 p.m.

In terms of total viewers, however, the evening marked another easy win for CBS. “NCIS,” “Bull” and “NCIS: New Orleans” gave the network an average of more than 11 million overall audience members across the three-hour day part.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.9 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 8 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 p.m. earned a 2.0/8 and 9.9 million viewers. At 9, “This Is Us” scored a 2.6/9 and 9.9 million viewers. At 10, “Menendez” concluded to a 1.0/4 and 4.2 million viewers.

CBS was second in ratings with a 1.3/5 and first in viewers with 11 million. “NCIS” at 8 posted a 1.5/6 and 12.9 million viewers. At 9, “Bull” put up a 1.2/4 and 10.4 million viewers. “NCIS: New Orleans” at 10 had a 1.1/5 and 9.7 million viewers.

ABC was third in ratings with a 0.9/3 and in viewers with 3.5 million. “The Middle” at 8 got a 1.3/5 and 5.6 million viewers. At 8:30, “Fresh Off the Boat” received a 1.0/4 and 3.8 million viewers. “Black-ish” at 9 landed a 1.1/4 and 3.9 million viewers. At 9:30, “The Mayor” managed a 0.7/3 and 2.5 million viewers. “Kevin (Probably) Saves the World” at 10 settled for a 0.6/3 and 2.6 million viewers.

Fox was fourth in ratings with a 0.8/3 and in viewers with 2.9 million. “Lethal Weapon” at 8 p.m. had a 1.0/4 and 3.9 million viewers. At 9, “The Mick” got a 0.7/3 and 2.1 million viewers. “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” at 9:30 received a 0.6/2 and 1.6 million viewers.

The CW was fifth in ratings with a 0.7/3 and in viewers with 2 million. “The Flash” at 8 opened the youngest-skewing network’s primetime to a 1.0/4 and 2.4 million viewers. At 9, “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” closed it with a 0.5/2 and 1.6 million viewers.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.6/2 an seventh in viewers with 1.46 million.

Univision was seventh in ratings with a 0.5/2 and sixth in viewers with 1.51 million.
