Ratings: NBC Wins Night With ‘America’s Got Talent’

"America's Got Talent" takes top numbers in key demo and total viewers

"America's Got Talent" pushed NBC to an overall win for Wednesday night, holding steady with last week's numbers and providing a solid lead-in for its new dramedy "Camp," according to preliminary numbers.

NBC grabbed first place in the advertiser-sought 18-49 demographic with a 2.0 rating/7 share and in total viewers with 7.7 million. A repeat of "America's Got Talent" at 8 p.m. was followed by an original episode of the series the next hour.

The new "AGT" pulled even with last week's episode, grabbing the night's best demo performance with a 2.8/9 and the largest audience with 11 million. NBC's freshman dramedy "Camp" followed at 10 with a 1.4/4 and 4.5 million total viewers.

Fox was second in ratings and third in total viewers with a 1.6/5 and 4.4 milllon. After a repeat of "MasterChef," a new episode at 9 dipped 9 percent to a 2.1/7 and had 5.5 million total viewers.

CBS drew third place in ratings and second in total viewers with a 1.5/5 and 5.7 million. Aside from "Big Brother" at 8, which inched up 5 percent to a 2.1/8 and had 6.3 million total viewers, the network aired repeats.

Univision was fourth in ratings and total viewers with a 1.4/5 and 3.7 million.

ABC, drawing fifth place in ratings and total viewers with a 0.7/2 and 2.7 million, aired repeats except for "The Lookout" at 10, which climbed 14 percent for a 0.8/2 and had 3 million total viewers.
