“The Voice” and “Dancing With the Stars” took their final bows of the season last night, and both shows dropped double digits on a percentage basis compared to last year.

To be fair, they’re not the only series that saw such declines from May 2016. Plus, the two reality competitions performed better than anything else on broadcast TV on Tuesday, when NBC topped the key adults 18-49 demographic and ABC claimed an overall viewer victory.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.5 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic, but third in total viewers with an average of 7.1 million, according to preliminary numbers. “Great News” at 8 p.m. had a 0.7/3 and 3.1 million viewers. At 8:30, that freshman show’s season finale got a 0.8/3 and 3.1 million viewers. “The Voice” at 9 earned a 1.9/7 and 9.1 million viewers.

ABC was second in ratings with a 1.3/5 and first in viewers with 8.3 million. “Downward Dog” at 8 received a 1.0/4 and 5.7 million viewers. “DWTS” took up the rest of prime time, landing a 1.3/5 and 8.8 million viewers.

CBS was third in ratings with a 0.8/3 and in viewers with 7.1 million. Following a rerun, the “Bull” season finale at 9 put up a 1.1/4 and 8.4 million viewers. At 10, “48 Hours: NCIS” had a 0.6/2 and 4.7 million viewers.

The CW and Fox tied for fourth in ratings, both with a 0.7/3. The CW was fourth in total viewers with 2 million, Fox was fifth with 1.8 million.

For CW, “The Flash” season finale at 8 posted a 1.1/4 and 3 million viewers. At 9, “iZombie” got a 0.4/1 and 1 million viewers.

For Fox, the hour-long “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” season finale at 8 had a 0.6/3 and 1.7 million viewers. “Prison Break” at 9 received a 0.7/3 and 1.9 million viewers.

Univision was sixth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in viewers with 1.6 million.
