Redbox is ramping up its flirtation with renting videogames.
The kiosk company announced on Wednesday that beginning this month it will add additional test markets in the West, Midwest and Atlantic coast.
The company did not say exactly how many locations would begin offering games.
Redbox began its test in August 2009. The company has launched similar experiments with higher prices on its dollar video rentals in various states.
Redbox consumers in each test market will have access to a variety of video games from platforms, such as Wii, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360, for $2 a night plus tax.
The number of video game titles and copies will vary by kiosk and location with new games being added each week.
