Relativity Media has forged a foreign output deal with Spanish distributor Tripictures, the studio announced on Wednesday.
As part of a four-year pact, Tripictures will oversee the distribution of Relativity-produced features in Spain.
“We are very pleased with this new partnership. Spain is a vital market and we are fortunate to be in business with Tripictures, a leading local distributor that keenly understands and engages the region’s audience,” Relativity’s COO Steve Bertram said in a statement.
The two companies have a pre-existing business relationship. Tripictures is currently distributing Relativity's Oscar-contender "The Fighter" in Spain, and will distribute two other Relativity films "Season of the Witch" and "Limitless."
This latest output deal comes on the heels of last weeks announcement that Relativity has renewed its agreement with Alliance Films and Momentum Pictures to distribute the studio's films in the United Kingdom and Canada.
