‘Revolution’ Star Tracy Spiridakos Joins Jonathan Rhys Meyers in Romantic Comedy (Exclusive)

Qoa Entertainment is producing the movie, which Finola Hughes will direct from a script by Christine Fry

Tracy Spiridakos, who starred on NBC’s “Revolution,” is set to play the female lead opposite Jonathan Rhys Meyers in Qoa Entertainment’s romantic comedy “Byrd & the Bees,” TheWrap has learned.

Finola Hughes will direct from a script by Christine Fry, who is also producing the indie movie. The duo previously collaborated on “The Bet.”

Spiridakos will play Rebecca Byrd, a young woman who travels to Scotland to find and meet her biological father and winds up meeting her dream guy along the way.

Production is scheduled to start in September in Scotland.

Spiridakos, who starred as Charlie Matheson on “Revolution,” previously appeared in “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” and the indie movie “The Boy She Met Online.” She’s represented by the Gersh Agency and KC Talent.
