Rihanna was caught off guard by a voice almost as good as hers over the weekend when she let a fan sing a few lines from “FourFiveSeconds.”
“Woah!” she proclaimed upon hearing Terah Jay’s soulful rendition after offering him the mic.
The fan, who was standing in the front row, has become a bit of a social media sensation since the show on Saturday, and for good reason.

Rihanna thanked Jay in a video he posted on his Instagram.

Jay is an amateur singer who has some lengthier demonstrations of his ability on his YouTube page, where he’s posted a handful of videos over a couple years, including covers of John Mayer’s “I’m Gonna Find Another You” and Lorde’s “Royals.”
