Robin Williams May Return to TV in David E. Kelley Series

Actor rose to stardom in "Mork & Mindy"

CBS is in talks with Oscar winner Robin Williams and producer David E. Kelley about a series set at an advertising firm in which Williams would star.

No deal is done. But the show would mark a surprising return to television for Williams, who rose to fame in the "Happy Days" spinoff "Mork and Mindy," a series that ended three decades ago.

Kelley has a knack for shepherding movie stars into TV shows: He recently led the Kathy Bates vehicle "Harry's Law," which was canceled after two seasons, and presided over "Boston Legal" with James Spader and William Shatner.

Williams won his best supporting actor Oscar for "Good Will Hunting."

News of the talks was first reported — simultaneously — by TV Guide, EW and Deadline.
