Ryan Seacrest is developing a new comedy series at CBS called “Squad Goals,” TheWrap has learned.

The show will be a multi-camera ensemble comedy about a group of late 20-something friends who met in college and realize it’s time to finally grow up.

Seacrest will serve as executive producer alongside Nina Wass. The show’s writers, Aaron Kano and Lindsey Rosin, will also serve as executive producers. CBS Television Studios will produce in association with Ryan Seacrest Productions.

The network also recently announced that they have purchased another script from Seacrest Productions called “The Down Beat.”

That series, from writer Paul Downs Colaizzo, will be a drama about an Atlanta marching band. Ludacris is set to executive produce.

CBS also gave two put pilot commitments to showrunner Greg Berlanti, the man behind hit CW shows like “Arrow” and “Flash,” as well as the upcoming “Supergirl.”
