JoBeth Williams and Scott Bakula will announce the winners

JoBeth Williams and Scott Bakula will announce the winners of the Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Action Performances by Film and Television Stunt Ensembles  from the red carpet at this year's awards show.

Williams ("Poltergeist") chairs the guild's awards committee and Bakula ("Quantum Leap") is a member.

The mini-ceremony will be be webcast on the websites of TNT, TBS and People magazine, the guild said. The live webcast will be hosted by People’s Deputy Managing Editor Peter Castro and TNT Correspondent Danielle Demski.

"Skyfall," "The Dark Knight Rises" and "Boardwalk Empire" are among the films and television shows that will compete for the honor.

The guild announced the full list of nominees in December and for the most part the contenders come from movies or shows that specialize in violence or spectacle, although one musical drama, "Les Misérables," managed to sneak into the pack.

"The Bourne Legacy" and "The Amazing Spider-Man" are the other two films that have been nominated for their stunt ensemble work. On the television front, "The Walking Dead," "Game of Thrones," "Sons of Anarchy" and "Breaking Bad" have all been nominated alongside "Boardwalk Empire."
