Just in time for Halloween, WGN America is offering “Salem” fans a chance to relive some of the scariest and most memorable sets and scenes from the supernatural series’ first season.
Everything looked so bright and cheerful at the various locations that Iddo Goldberg, who plays Isaac Walton, brought us. But things got dark and freaky very quickly as soon as we jumped back to see all the horrific scenes that played out at idyllic locations like the docks or the forest.

One location was too much even for Goldberg. “I don’t even want to talk about what happened in there,” he said. “You’ve got the wrong guy.”
But that didn’t stop them from showing us.
“Just another day in Salem,” Goldberg said. “Some crazy, freaky stuff has happened, and you don’t want to be here when the sun goes down. Believe me.”

One thing’s for sure: The nearly two-minute video shows just how much “Salem” was able to pack into its 13-episode first season. WGN America has renewed the series for a second episode of 13 episodes for 2015, so you can just imagine how much more horror is in store.
Season 1 of “Salem” is available on DVD starting Tuesday.
