Caitlin Foito and Sam Bramhall are joining Miramax to head up the studio’s television division.

Foito will serve as senior vice president of development while Bramhall will become senior vice president of television business affairs. The duo will oversee Miramax’s expanding roster of content and producing partners as part of the studio’s new initiative for television.

Bramhall was previously senior vice president of business and legal affairs for Marvel Television, while Foito most recently served as VP of drama development for ABC Studios. Before that, she was director of drama programming for Fox.

At ABC, Foito oversaw the development of “The Crossing,” “For The People,” “Still Star-Crossed,” “The Catch” and the upcoming “The Fix.” At Fox, she developed “The Following,” “Almost Human,” “Rake,” and “Empire.”

“Sam Bramhall is one of the most experienced, well-respected, and knowledgeable Business Affairs executives in television. With the benefit of many years spent at 20th Century Fox, FX and Marvel, Sam is the perfect partner to help build Miramax Television from the ground up.  We are so lucky to have him,” said Lauren Whitney, president of Television. “Caitlin Foito has tremendous energy and passion, and has built an excellent reputation by nurturing real connections with writers.  She is a wonderful addition to Miramax Television.”

In May, Miramax secured a $300 million multi-bank revolving credit facility that will fund film and TV productions for the next five years. The loan, led by Bank of America Merrill Lynch and MUFG Union Bank, should provide the studio with enough financing to produce four-to-six films a year and deficit finance two-to-three TV series.
