Warner Bros. released the first trailer for Sandra Bullock‘s “Our Brand Is Crisis” on Tuesday.
Based on the 2005 documentary of the same name, the film follows an American political strategist (Bullock) as she is recruited to run the campaign of a Bolivian presidential candidate (Joaquim de Almeida).
The film also stars Billy Bob Thornton, Anthony Mackie, and Zoe Kazan. David Gordon Green directed the project, with Peter Straughan writing the screenplay.
Bullock also executive produced the film, along with Stuart M. Besser and Nina Wolarsky. George Clooney and Grant Heslov are producing under their Smokehouse Pictures banner. Participant Media is also producing.
“Our Brand Is Crisis” will premiere in theaters on Oct. 30.
