“Saturday Night Live” is paying its respects to Prince with a clip show highlighting the musician’s memorable performances on the show over the years.
A publicist at NBC sent word on Friday afternoon that Saturday’s episode would be titled “SNL Goodnight Sweet Prince.”
Prince died on Thursday at age 57. The cause of his death has not yet been determined, though authorities have ruled out a suicide.
Scores of Prince tributes are popping up all over America. LACMA’s “Rain Room” transformed into the “Purple Rain Room” on Friday, while AMC Theaters is bringing the Warner Bros. movie “Purple Rain” back to theaters from April 23-28.
