A SON OF MAN is a trans-generational film that took ten years to make. The movie tells a story of a relentless pursuit of a treasure while redefining what that treasure is in the process. It features the conflict of a young man seeking recognition of his estranged and obsessed father, attempting to connect while transforming from a boy into a man. This film is Ecuador’s entry in the Oscar’s foreign-language film category.
