Seth Meyers offered his congratulations to Caitlyn Jenner on Monday’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”
“Such a wonderful photo, I cannot wait to read the article,” Meyers said. “I don’t have any jokes about this. I’m so happy. I sort of can’t believe we’re living in a time when this is happening and people are being so positive about it. So congratulations, Caitlyn Jenner.”
Jenner made headlines and lit up social media on Monday with her first post-transition photoshoot with Annie Leibovitz for a Vanity Fair cover story.
The response to Jenner was largely positive in the wake of her announcement, with her social media debut breaking Twitter records and many prominent celebrities voicing their support, including President Obama.
