“Salem” star Shane West took a stroll down memory lane during a new episode of TheWrap’s “Drinking With the Stars,” revealing that he purchased the car his character drove in “A Walk to Remember.”
“They started pulling out the cars one by one for each character and they pulled out that ’67 Camaro for me,” West said. “And I turned to the first A.D. and I was like ‘How much is it and I want it. Don’t let anyone else get it.’ And I used part of my paycheck to buy that car.”
In light of all the reboots of TV series currently in the works, West said he would be willing to revisit one of his beloved early roles. “‘Once and Again’ reunion would be fun,”he said. “You could do it from where the characters are now, like whatever their ages might be now, like my age now, like where they could be.”
West also said he still keeps in regular contact with his “Once and Again” co-star and onscreen father Billy Campbell.
