The park, slated to open early next year, also will roll out the Far Far Away Castle from "Shrek," home of King Harold.

Madagascar: A Crate Adventure takes visitors on a boat ride featuring animated characters, digital projections and various special effects. It’s based on the films from DreamWorks Animation.

Far Far Away Castle offers vistors Shrek 4D, Donkey Live and Magic Potion Spin.

Universal Studios SIngapore features six attractions based on DreamWorks films. The new park is part of the sprawing Resorts World Sentosa.

Universal Studios Singapore will feature 24 rides and attractions, 18 of which are either original or adapted for the park. The collection of DreamWorks attractions include more than 10 themed dining and shopping outlets.

"Resorts World Sentosa has a sales network spanning 22 Asian cities," said Tan Hee Teck, CEO of Resorts World Sentosa. "In each of these cities, ‘Shrek’ and ‘Madagascar’ are well-known animation films with beloved characters."
