StarStream Entertainment Appoints Daniel McCarney as Chief Content Officer

Company’s film “Life After Beth” will premiere at Sundance

StarStream Entertainment has appointed its co-founder Daniel McCarney as chief content officer, the company said Friday in Park City, Utah.

The company will premiere its dark comedy “Life After Beth” at the Sundance Film Festival, playing in the U.S. Dramatic Competition.

McCarney will continue overseeing all upcoming content and projects for the company, alongside CEO Kim Leadford.

“Daniel McCarney has been an essential member of our team, making exponential contributions to all of our films to date,” Leadford said. “We are thrilled to announce his appointment to CCO where he can continue to help cultivate and secure successful ventures for the company.”

McCarney, who previously served as executive vice president for XLR8* Films, has executive produced a number of StarStream projects, including “Life After Beth,” which stars Aubrey Plaza and John C. Reilly.
