Stevie Wonder Files for Divorce From 2nd Wife

"Isn't She Lovely" singer Stevie Wonder and fashion designer Kai Millard Morris wed in 2001

"Superstition" singer Wonder, 62, filed for divorce from his second wife, Kai Millard Morris, on Friday. The singer (real name: Stevland Morris) cites irreconcilable differences in the filing.

Wonder and Morris, a fashion designer, had been married since 2001. They have two sons — Kailand, 10, and Mandla, 7 — together.

According to the papers, which were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, the couple has been separated since Oct. 2009.

In the filing, Wonder agrees to pay spousal support, and asks for joint legal and physical custody of the children.

A spokesman for the singer has not yet responded to TheWrap's request for comment.

Wonder was previously married to Motown singer Syreeta Wright from 1970 until 1972. She died in 2004 at 57.
