A new “Suicide Squad” international trailer gives viewers another glimpse at the villains’ powers.
The clip is a shorter version of the extended trailer released a few months ago, and features ragtag team members like Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), The Joker (Jared Leto) and Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje).
The movie centers around a team of supervillains assembled by the U.S. government to carry out top-secret missions with a very low chance of survival.
“Suicide Squad” also stars Karen Fukuhara as Katana; Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang and Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg. Viola Davis plays government agent Amanda Waller.
David Ayer is directing the comic adaptation in addition to writing the screenplay. Zack Snyder and Deborah Snyder are executive producing along with Colin Wilson and Geoff Johns.
“Suicide Squad” will open in theaters Aug. 6.
