The hosts of ABC’s “The View” ripped into the Kardashian-Jenners at the top of Wednesday’s episode.
After Raven-Symoné shared a story about being shoved aside by a journalist trying to talk to Kendall Jenner at Tuesday’s “Zoolander 2” premiere, the hosts of the daytime talker inexplicably opened the Hot Topics segment by discussing a recent clash between Kendall and Caitlyn Jenner on E!’s “Keeping up With the Kardashians.”
“This is why the terrorists hate us,” Joy Behar said after watching the clip in which Kendall accuses her father of trying to steal the spotlight at her debut Victoria’s Secret runway show. “I’m convinced of it. This show is making them hate us.”
“If I would have said any types of those words to my family or cussed out my transgender father, I would have gotten smacked in the face,” added Raven-Symoné. “Watch your mouth.”
The hosts continued to pile on, but Candace Cameron Bure and guest host Sunny Hostin took a different angle, choosing instead to target Caitlyn for bad parenting.
“As a mom, I really try hard not to upstage my kids. I try not to compete with them,” Hostin said. The CNN contributor also told the other co-hosts a story about having to hold herself back as “a pretty good artist” in order to not outshine her kids.
“Caitlyn wants some attention too now,” Behar joked. “One narcissist in the family is enough. How many do they need?”
