The Young Turks founder Cenk Uygur called Breitbart News an “embarrassment” when speaking with TheWrap about his recent interview with Bernie Sanders.

Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, has been arrested for battery in connection with the incident that had Uygur fired up, involving a Breitbart News reporter.

“They didn’t back their reporter at all. They fired their reporter basically after she got assaulted by Donald Trump,” Uygur said. “We would be in the opposite direction. We would back our guys 100 percent.”

Uygur also called the GOP frontrunner a “media-absorbing monster” and said he would take legal action if a Trump staffer laid hands on one of his reporters.

“We would tell our reporters, as we have throughout, to be as aggressive as possible with each candidate. That’s their job. They’re supposed to be the watchdogs of the government and politicians,” Uygur said. “If they respond with violence, I can guarantee you we’re going to file charges.”

Uygur is so fed up with Trump that’s he’s now doing something that would have been unthinkable a few months ago.

“Trump has upended our politic in such an interesting and crazy way that he know has created strange bedfellows. He’s got me rooting for a Fox News anchor which previously seemed unimaginable,” Uygur said of the GOP frontrunner’s attacks on Fox News host Megyn Kelly. “Obviously Megyn is right and Trump is wrong”

Uygur isn’t only rooting for a Fox anchor, he thinks they’re doing the best job among major cable news networks.

“Credit where credit is due, Fox News actually probably has been the one network that has been the toughest with Republicans in this race because they’re not afraid of being called liberal media. From time to time they actually ask some real questions,” Uygur said. “Unlike CNN and MSNBC. Their coverage of the Republicans pretty much has been pathetic.”
