LOS ANGELES (April 3rd, 2014) – TheWrap is pleased to announce the expansion of its flagship media leadership conference to New York City with TheGrill NYC, Branded Entertainment, to take place on Thursday, June 12 at CORE: club in Manhattan.
Like the flagship conference in the fall, the inaugural Grill NYC, Branded Entertainment, will gather top influencers in media and marketing for a high level discussion about the entertainment economy. TheGrill NYC will bring content leaders together with cutting edge talent in branding to discuss the latest trends in branded content with fireside chats, panels. Edelman, and its entertainment marketing unit, MATTER, will present new and exclusive global research about entertainment consumption, sharing, and the relationship to brands.
Set at the ultra exclusive CORE: club in Midtown Manhattan, The Grill NYC will explore how Madison Avenue is innovating in entertainment and how entertainment is evolving to integrate brand messaging. Keynotes and panels will include dynamic partnerships between content leaders and brand innovators, featuring case studies of some of the most successful integrations of the past year, and upcoming season.
Keynotes at TheGrill 2013 included ESPN President John Skipper, Bill Maher, Netflix CCO Ted Sarandos, USA Today Publisher Larry Kramer, Electus CEO Ben Silverman, “Modern Family’s” Julie Bowen and Maker CEO Ynon Kreiz.
The sessions will be moderated by Wrap journalists. The invitation-only inaugural event will include thought leaders from the content and advertising communities. The event will be open to select national media.
