Tina Fey, Edie Falco Added to Emmy Lineup

Stephen Colbert, Laurence Fishburne and Will Arnett also join list of presenters

The Emmy Awards continued to announce its presenters in handfuls on Tuesday, with the newest batch consisting of Will Arnett, Stephen Colbert, Edie Falco, Tina Fey and Lawrence Fishburne.

Arnett and Falco are nominated for acting this year, for “30 Rock” and “Nurse Jackie,” respectively. Colbert is nominated for writing “The Colbert Report,” and for the show itself, Fey has four nominations for writing, starring in and producing “30 Rock” and appearing on “Saturday Night Live.”

Tina FeyExcept for Arnett, the new presenters are all past Emmy winners. Fey has won seven Emmys and been nominated 16 times for “30 Rock” and “Saturday Night Live.” Falco has eight nominations, and won three times for “The Sopranos.” Colbert has four wins and 15 nominations for his show.

Fishburne, who currently stars in “CSI,” is a four-time nominee who won Emmys in 1993 for “Tribeca” and in 1997 for “Miss Evers’ Boys.” 

On Monday, the Television Academy announced presenters Ricky Gervais, January Jones, Julianna Margulies, Matthew Morrison, John Krasinski and Sofia Vergara.

The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards will take place on Sunday, August 29 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, and will be broadcast on NBC.
