‘Today’ Show Adds Fashion Guru Lilliana Vazquez as Regular Contributor

The LV Guide founder has been a regular guest for four years

Fashion expert and blogger Lilliana Vazquez has joined NBC’s “Today” show as a regular contributor. She has been the show’s recurring fashion expert the past four years but is now an official contributor.

In addition to fashion, Vazquez will cover a variety of trending stories across lifestyle categories, including pop culture, travel, wellness, technology and entertainment.

“As the lines between broadcast and digital continue to blur, networks are recognizing the importance of incorporating talent from non-traditional backgrounds,” Vazquez told TheWrap. “Influencers, like myself, who have brand recognition across multiple channels, are able to deliver engagement, new viewers and a fresh point of view to a very traditional format.”

Vazquez will continue her #LuxeforLess segment, which she has contributed to for the past year. She is an Emmy-winning host, producer and founder of the popular lifestyle blog The LV Guide. She has also been a recurring panelist on “The Meredith Vieira Show” and a correspondent for “New York LIVE.”

Vazquez says she’s excited about what her new gig brings.

“I love how unpredictable each day is. When you work on a live show, the pacing is fast and furious, but that’s the reason I jump out of bed before sunrise with no coffee needed,” Vazquez said. “The stories, headlines and personalities behind the scenes are my caffeine.”

Vazquez hosted “1st Look: Live on the Red Carpet” for the Golden Globes and was chosen by First Lady Michelle Obama to moderate the keynote panel at the White House’s inaugural Fashion Education Workshop.
