Hugh Jackman injected some Hollywood glamour into Broadway's biggest night on Sunday, accepting a special Tony Award for his humanitarian work.
The award had been pre-announced so Jackman knew he would be making a speech, what he did not anticipate was that he would receive the honor from his wife Deborra-Lee Furness.

Cinema's Wolverine and the star of the upcoming big-screen adaptation of "Les Miserables" said that Furness told him she was going to the "loo."
"I know how much you hate public speaking — this is probably the most incredible thing you've ever done for me," Jackman said.
Jackman previously won a Tony for Best Actor in a Musical in 2004 for his performance as entertainer Peter Allen in "The Boy from Oz." He is scheduled to return to Broadway in the 2013-14 season with a starring role in a new musical called "Houdini."
While picking up his honor, Jackman reflected on the reception he received not just for that performance but for his stint hosting the awards show in 2003.
"I will never forget my time with you this theater community," Jackman said.
