Trevor Noah interviewed DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz on Monday night, and wasn’t afraid to ask the tough questions, like if Bernie Sanders is being “cockblocked” by the Democratic Party, which seems to favor Hillary Clinton.

“You know, as powerful as that makes me feel, I’m not doing a very good job of rigging the outcome or blocking anyone,” Wasserman Schultz bashfully replied on “The Daily Show.”

Wasserman Schultz got a laugh of her own when she referred to the GOP as a “clown car” riding around the country. She pointed out that the candidates “alienate” someone else whenever they open their mouths, and stated she’s proud of Sanders and Clinton for discussing issues that matter.

The audience applauded when Noah asked about Democratic super delegates and whether they go against the very idea of letting the voters choose the candidates.

Watch Wasserman Schultz defend the Democratic party’s political process in the interview below.
