The Tribeca Film Festival is looking for films for its tenth anniversary fest, which organizers announced will take place from April 21 to May 1, 2011.
The downtown New York festival, which was founded by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff in 2001, has screened more than 1,000 films from 80 countries during its first nine years.
The festival is now looking for narrative and documentary features, and for short films. Submission forms and eligibility information will be available at www.tribecafilm.com/festival when submissions open on September 13.
The following deadlines apply for submissions:
November 5, 2010 – EARLY DEADLINE, FEATURES & SHORTS
December 10, 2010 – OFFICIAL DEADLINE, ALL FEATURES AND SHORTS
COMPLETED IN 2010
January 10, 2011 – LATE DEADLINE, 2010 FEATURE LENGTH WORK-IN-PROGRESS AND FILMS COMPLETED AFTER OFFICIAL DEADLINE
