Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, has been complaining to friends that he hadn’t been reimbursed for his payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels, The Wall Street Journal reported Monday.

Cohen, admitted to the New York Times last month that he paid Daniels — whose real name is Stephanie Clifford — $130,000 out of his own pocket as part of an agreement to prevent the porn actress from speaking out about an alleged affair she had with Trump in 2006.

According to the WSJ report, Cohen used his own funds for the deal with Clifford in October 2016, after being unable to track down Trump in the days before the presidential election.

The paper reported that Cohen’s bank later reported the wire transaction to the Treasury Department as suspicious.

Neither the White House nor Daniels responded to TheWrap’s request for comment. Cohen and White House representatives have repeatedly denied any relationship between Trump and Daniels.

The Washington Post reported last week that Clifford threatened to cancel the nondisclosure agreement just days before the 2016 election.

Daniels’ rep said last month that she now believes that Cohen’s comments to the Times about the payment broke the nondisclosure agreement, opening the door for her to talk about the affair.
