Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Paker will guest on "Glee" next season, Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly announced Monday.
Hudson will join the show for eight episodes when it moves to Thursday nights next season, and Parker will also appear for multiple episodes, Reilly said. The season will also feature a "show within a show" as the "Glee" club members who have graduated move to New York City, he said.
He also said Fox hopes to announce new "X Factor" judges Monday. The network is delivering its upfront presentation of next season's shows to advertisers in New York.
Fox hopes "Glee" will have a resurgence in its next season, which will be its fourth, after it slipped in the ratings this season. It will air after the "X Factor" Thursday results show in the fall, and after the "American Idol" Thursday results show in midseason.
