Rest assured, "Jersey Shore" fans — if Snooki, the Situation and the rest of the pumpkin-hued crew decide to abandon the show that made them stars, there's plenty of talent willing to step in and take their place.
With production on Season 5 of the MTV series drawing to a close, Conan O'Brien unveiled audition tapes for a number of "Shore" hopefuls on his TBS show Monday night. The aspiring guidos included "30 Minutes or Less" star Jesse Eisenberg, "30 Rock" actor Jack McBrayer, and John Lithgow — whose recent stints on the serial-killer series "Dexter" and the big-screen re-imagining "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" would provide interesting counterpoints to a "Shore" gig.
Watch Eisenberg and the others try to lock up a "Shore" thing in the video. Which one do you think would make the most appropriate "Jersey Shore" addition? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section.
